Forest HDF is a laminate flooring brand made in Belgium, at one of Unilin’s largest processing plants, with a dedicated research and quality-assurance team behind every board. Each plank has a high-density fibreboard (HDF) core, a printed wood decor, a hard wear layer and a click system designed for fast, tight installation.
In Egypt this kind of floor is simply called HDF. It suits apartments, villas, hotel rooms, offices and shops, wherever you want the look of wood with good scratch resistance.

AC ratings follow the European laminate standard EN 13329: AC4 is class 32 (general commercial use) and AC5 is class 33 (heavy commercial use). Choose the class by the busiest area the floor will see.
Forest HDF or Balterio?
Both are Belgian HDF laminate brands, and GCT supplies and installs both. Forest HDF is stocked in Cairo in the three ranges above, and Balterio adds more decors and plank formats. We can quote the two side by side for the same project.
Laminate is not for bathrooms, wet kitchens or anywhere water stands on the floor. For wet areas we recommend vinyl flooring, and for real timber that can be sanded and refinished, engineered wood.
