The boards arrive pre-finished from the factory, so there is no on-site sanding, varnish or fumes, and the floor can be used soon after installation.
That stability matters in Egypt. The cross-layer core resists the shrinking, cupping and gapping that solid parquet suffers in dry summer heat and coastal humidity, provided the subfloor is dry and the boards are acclimatised before installation.
